14. 밤샘 (Up All Night) – Lee Hi ft. Tablo
Lee Hi has also been a favorite of mine because of her mad vocals. When it was announced that she’ll be dropping an album from HIGHGRND, I was totally hyped. Seoulite has 12 tracks and every song there is amazing + great featuring too! Tablo for one Yo! Here’s a favorite of mine.
13. 태풍 (The Eye) – INFINITE
INFINITE is one of those groups that is a blast to watch. They are prolly one of the most underappreciated group in Korea. Like BtoB, they’re hardhitters and their vocals are strong. I often hear their songs but nothing stuck to me like The Eye. Maybe its Sung-jongs amazing hair or Dong-woos voice but there’s something about this song – repeating it numerous times does not get boring.

12. puzzle – C Jamm & BeWhy
You’ll understand why this song makes my list once you listen to it if you haven’t yet. Watch out for the hook because its killer.
11. 불장난 (PLAYING WITH FIRE) – Blackpink
A fairly new girl group from YG and I avoided them like the plague because me and girlgroups don’t mix but hot deyyyyyym they’re the complete package. Since I suck with names, I mainly know Lisa because of her hair.
Hoping that J-Hope and Lisa would do a dance collab though *aheeem*
Okaaaaay 5 down, 10 more to go. Hang in there.
10. COM’BACK+ 기사도 (Chivarly)+ 폼생폼사 – SechsKies
Now with this one I admit I am cheating a bit but seriously Sechs Kies! I could not pick one so I’m giving you a medly of COM’BACK + 기사도’ + 폼생폼사 Also advice you to check Road Fighter. Jjang!
Anddd because I love to share, here’s 폼생폼사 2x faster. Keep in mind that these guys are in their 30s. 30s!
9. 공감 (Sympathy) – Jung Joon-young ft. Seo Young-eun
I love musicians with bassy voice so Joon-young’s Sympathy isn’t surprising. This song gave me chills and was kept on repeat for months.
8. 너는 나 나는 너 (I Am You, You Are Me) – Zico
Whether he raps or sings, it doesn’t matter. Zico has mad talent whether as an artist or producer. His mentoring together with Palo Alto of Mino was one of the best part of SMTM4. Although he’s part of BlockB, you can see the distinction of his music as a soloist.
7. 좋더라(I’m Young) – Nam Tae Hyun
Tae Hyun. Darn it. Each of the track in Exit : E (XDSG*&@GDSDA!!!! double darn it!) is a hit but this one is a gem.
6. 꽐라 (HOLUP!) – Bobby
I’ve always been a fan of Bobby whether it be with iKon or being solo. If TOPs bassy voice is butter, Bobby has that oomphhh – it will hit you hard. I can guarantee that you’ll bust some moves when you listen to this one. The buildup in 0:47 though.
Annnnd we’re down to 5.
5. Dancing King – EXO ft. YJS
Sooo its no mystery that I am a huge fan of variety shows, Infinite Challenge being one of them. My #5 pick is a collabo between EXO and YJS.
Earlier this year MuDo had a mission wherein members needed to send each other letters that later became their projects for that year. Kwanghee wrote to YJS how he wishes to see him perform with EXO – thus the birth of this amazing project. They should do it yearly EXO x YJS!
Chose this fancam since it shows the angles better but if you want a different view, I added another fancam. The one they posted sucks. Pffft. Just don’t mind the shakiness and cheers.
See that guy with the glasses? That’s YJS. Remember, that guy is an entertainer and not a dancer but he can dance better than some idol *cough**cough*. Anybody who’s unfamiliar with EXO will sincerely believe they have 10 members. Haha.

For some reason, I have this suspicion that Kim Tae Ho would make this, YJS performing with idols, a thing. Or better yet, make this a thing already! Its entertaining as hell.
4. 몸(BODY) – Mino
If HOLUP! was a good dance/club music to show your moves, 몸 is the song of choice when you get out and want to play all night (if you know what I mean). This song has soo much sexiness that you can’t help yourself grin stupidly.
3. Bermuda Triangle – Zico Ft. Crush + Dean
Yes fam we have Zico again at #3 because this collaboration is bomb. A treat to all fans and most likely made the nonfans fans. They should make this trio official tho because why not?
2. 피 땀 눈물 (Blood Sweat & Tears) – BTS
BTS slayed it this year. From nobodys to being finale acts in shows, their rise to fame is incredible. Everyone should praise them for their hard work and skills. Anyway, posted this same video in Favorite Korean Artists post but referencing it again because the dance here needs to be seen – less distraction with just them dancing their ass off.
The highlight here is definitely Jimin and J-Hope tho! The first time I saw this video my jaw just dropped. Main point is definitely the choreo but hot damn their expressions tho – too much hotness to contain.
I said it before but I’ll say it again. That lovely boy in ripped jeans with the loose stripped shirt – KEEP.YOUR.EYES.ON.HIM. I repeat, keep your eyes on him. Watch it in 1080 and full screen to soak in all the gorgeousness. And here’s a tip, keep your eyes peeled at 1:17 – 1:22 and 1:33 – 1:37. You’re welcome.
1 . Last Dance – Big Bang
I bawled watching this video and every time my songlist plays this. Whether I’m working or doing something, I just stop and listen. MADE is no doubt a success but that doesn’t really surprised me given the talent that Big Bang has.
It was hard choosing between Bermuda Triangle and Blood Sweat & Tears but I knew that my ultimate favorite track for 2016 is definitely Last Dance when I was compiling this list. The others are no competition TBH. Last Dance is just an awesome song overall and it wrapped up my 2016 better than previous years.
There you have it my Top 15 song choices for 2016. I know my list will greatly differ from everyone so I’d like to hear your top songs. Also I welcome recommendations if you have any.
